vital skin control + allergic is a high premium diet dry food developed by veterinarians and nutritionists. Thanks to the composition of duck and potatoes, it offers a low allergy potential and is therefore also suitable as an elimination diet. This is prescribed by a veterinarian in order to be able to specifically test protein sources after the inflammatory skin reactions have subsided (usually after about 10-12 weeks). This gives you an overview of feed allergens that should be avoided in the future. Due to the high effectiveness and the fact that many cats do well with vital skin control + allergic, provocation with other protein sources is often avoided and the cat is fed permanently with vital skin control + allergic.
The skin barrier plays a very important role, especially in the case of so-called atopy (allergy to environmental stimuli such as pollen and mites), as it protects the body from external dangers such as e.g. B.
