Each recipe of Wellness natural cat food is packed with high quality animal protein, like fresh turkey or salmon, without fillers or grains, botanicals and nutritional supplements. With 43% - 58% protein ingredients, CORE recipes naturally support healthy energy and lean muscles. The completely balanced recipes also have increased levels of protein and keep a moderate fat content. Cats are obligate carnivores and thus their need for carbohydrates is almost redundant. These should not necessarily be found in grains and starch. Low levels of wholesome grain-free carbohydrates provide cats with a source of energy and fibre, which supports the gastrointestinal system function. Since they are grain-free, and do not contain artificial colours, flavours or fillers, the Wellness CORE recipes are suitable for sensitive and allergic cats. Prebiotics and probiotics promote a healthy digestion.
