The Farmina Vet Life Ossalati contains a low amount of calcium and vitamin D 3, to reduce the concentration of oxalate uroliths. The small number of proteins and sulfur-containing amino acids reduce the concentration of uric acid and cystine stones.
The alkaline pH of the urine was achieved thanks to the action of potassium citrate which increases the saturation point of the crystals. In addition, it contains very low concentrations of copper to avoid its toxic effects in dogs suffering from difficulty digesting excessive copper through the liver.
