APT pure is a unique, extremely concentrated formula for removing chlorine & chloramines. It makes heavy metals, ammonia, nitrite and nitrates harmless. It also contains soothing Aloe Vera extract.

Dosing Advice
Dose 1ml per 60L. Dose up to 5x the recommended amount as an emergency measure to eliminate Ammonia. The simple power of a water change the 2Hr way One of the most powerful ways to improve aquarium performance is also the simplest: Change the water regularly. This is used in the largest world class aquariums and should also be used in the smallest desktop aquariums. While an aquarium may look natural, it is not capable of sustaining itself naturally. Organic waste (which cannot be measured by our hobby test kits) builds up and not everything can be converted by the filter. Embrace the power of water changes the 2Hr way.

Step 1: Remove algae causes
The number 1 cause of an alga outbreak is decomposing organic substances. Remove all bad, declining leaves. Stem plants should be replanted after a few pruning sessions. Older stems of aquarium plants decay after a longer period of time. Remove old stems and roots.

Step 2: Suck dirt and drain water
Instead of simply draining water from the aquarium, use a pipette or turkey baster to gently blow off loose debris and detritus from the bottom and plants. Be careful not to disturb the deeper substrate layer. Suck in the detritus while about 40% of the water is siphoned off.

Step 3: Condition and top up
Add and top up the unique 360º APT pure water conditioner directly into the aquarium. Keep in mind that the substrate is not disturbed. If sensitive fish are present in the aquarium, pre-mix the water conditioner with tap water in a separate cup.

Chlorine has been added to tap water since 1890. Tap water contains small concentrations of chlorine and chloramines. This is high enough to make water-borne diseases harmless, but low enough for human consumption. The concentration is high enough to be harmful to fish and can kill beneficial bacteria in the aquarium.

Change the water regularly. It is worth regularly changing 40% of the aquarium water. At least once a month in a slow-growing, fully planted aquarium with few fish, but more often when there is a higher load from fish. Regular water changes reduce algae growth by removing organic wastes that are not consumed by microbiological processes. When done the 2Hr way, the main triggers for algae growth are reduced. Also traces of algae are removed.
