Exotic Nutrition’s Hedgehog Complete hedgehog food is an animal-based protein pellet fortified with vitamins and minerals, then blended with delicious dried mealworms. This diet is scientifically formulated to meet your hedgehog’s vitamin, mineral, amino acid, fiber, and digestive enzyme needs. Hedgehog Complete incorporates high meat-based proteins along with fresh grains and dried mealworms to deliver a vitamin-fortified diet, containing complete nutrition necessary for growth, reproduction and development. This diet also includes chitin, which comes from the exoskeleton of insects, providing an added form of natural fiber for your hedgehog.
Suggested Feeding: Offer approximately 3 tablespoons of Hedgehog Complete to your pet daily. Adjust the amount fed to ensure your pet’s optimum body weight. Provide live, canned or dried insects weekly to vary the diet. Additional vitamins are not necessary if your pet’s diet is made up of at least 75% Hedgehog Complete. Do not leave moistened food out for more than 12 hours and replace any uneaten food after 24 hours. Always provide fresh drinking water. Storage: Store in a cool, dry place (under 72 °F). Refrigeration is highly recommended to retain full nutritional value. Store bag sealed, in an air-tight container free from pests and insects. Do not frequently expose food to a freeze/thaw cycle. If storing for longer than 8 weeks, refrigerate (up to 6 months). If storing for longer than 6 months, freeze (up to 12 months).
